Electrical Technician
RollTechs Specialty Vehicles is growing and looking for individuals to join our talented team as an Electrical Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair/replacement, and troubleshooting of the electrical components in our customized specialty vehicles . Your work as an Electrical Technician will directly contribute to our mission of driving technological innovation and excellence.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Electrical Technician position is a vital piece in the production process. Below is a brief overview of what the position entails.
- You will use your advanced understanding of diagnostic troubleshooting, installing, and repairing AC & DC electrical systems in vehicles such as RVs, autos, communication vehicles, trucks.
- You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, travelers and schematics in order to effectively complete projects.
- You will operate computers and diagnose equipment using analog and digital multi- meter, pyrometers, voltmeters, etc.
- You will regularly perform root/cause analysis to solve problems and find efficient and creative solutions.
- You will need to have an advanced understanding of electronic control panels, fiber optic censoring systems, drive motors, etc.
- You will effectively diagnose electrical panels and troubleshoot with safety as a top priority.
- You will be responsible for using grommets while running wire through openings to prevent rubbing and an cutting of wire.

WHO IS QUALIFIED?
- An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. If you are not formally trained in a classroom setting, we would like to see two to three years of relative experience and/or on-the-job training.
- Experience working with automotive electrical components.
- Expertise in AC/DC electrical systems.
- Being mechanically inclined is a must.
- Having an expert knowledge in troubleshooting and problem solving a variety of electrical challenges.
